Satish Nayak

Satish Nayak is one of the most respected and widely admired print technologists in India. With a vast and diverse experience of over 35 years in the print industry, Satish continues to be totally at the forefront of global print thought leadership. His experience spans a wide gamut of specialized areas within printing and print technology including ink manufacturing, camera and scanning to re-touching, pre-press and press, across multiple segments and countries.

A graduate in Printing Technology, Satish has worked extensively in multiple areas within the print industry, and in several countries. A journey that has enabled him to become what he is today – a maverick solutions architect. Satish’s expertise areas include Color Management, Solutions Integration, RIPS & Workflows, Digital Proofing, Packaging Software, Hybrid Tech Solutions and more.

His vast experience includes successful stints with Dainippon Screen Canada and also Dainippon Screen Engineering America (DSEA), a research unit of Dainippon Screen Japan. In the Dainippon Group, Satish has held several senior level positions in Training, and R&D. He has also worked globally as a Technical Consultant and masterminded a vast range of solutions for prestigious clients worldwide. Satish is also a G7 Expert and one of the first Ugra Certified Color Auditors in the country. A sought after color auditor in Asia for ISO Print Certification, Satish actively works with brands on implementing Print & Quality process standardization in India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and several other countries.

Satish founded Bodhi in the year 2001, and in a short period of time, Bodhi has grown to become a respected name within the printing technology & solutions industry.
